Har Ghar Har Grihini Yojana (Har Ghar Har Grihini Scheme) is an important initiative of the Haryana Government to ensure the economic security of women of the state and empower their kitchens. The scheme intends to provide LPG cylinders to women from economically weaker families at just Rs 500. This not only saves women the cost of cooking gas but also provides them with direct financial relief.
Under the scheme, eligible beneficiaries get a maximum of 12 cylinders a year. DBT is used for transferring Rs 500 directly to the bank account of beneficiary woman on the basis of difference between actual price of cylinder and Rs 500. If you have applied for this scheme, now you can easily check your application status, subsidy payment information and confirmation of the amount credited to your bank account from your mobile phone while sitting at home.
Documents to be submitted for availing benefits of the Scheme
You don’t have to go through any complicated process to check the status of the Har Ghar Har Grihini Yojana. It is all there on line and is very easy. You only need the following two things:
Document/Information Description/Definition
Family ID This is the unique identification number of your family which is registered on the Family Identity Card portal of Haryana Govt.
Mobile Number (Registered)Family ID associated with your mobile number. OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to this number to verify the status.
To check the status these two things are mandatory. Without these two things it is not possible to check the status. So, before beginning the process, ensure you have your Family ID and registered mobile number.

Step Process Description
Step 1: Go to the official websiteGo to the official website of Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Haryana epds.haryanafood.gov.in
Step 2: Choose the SchemeClick on the option “Har Ghar – Har Grihni Scheme” on the menu of the main page of the website.
Step 3: Check Registration StatusNow you will have two options. “Registration Form” and “Registration Status”. Click on “Status of Registration”
Step 4: Input Family IDNow enter Family ID in the field asked. Fill in the captcha code and click on the “Send OTP” button.
Step 5: OTP Verification StepYou will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Check it and enter it.
Step 6. See StatusOnce the OTP is verified, all the information related to your application will be opened on your screen. Here you can see:
• Application status – Approved or Pending
• LPG details verified or not
• Bank account verification status
• Status of DBT payment
Step 7: Check the Subsidy PaymentWhen the subsidy has been released, you will see a message saying “Payment Success” or “Subsidy Released”. Here you will also see for which months the amount was credited to your account.
