Why is your PACL refund pending?

There is no automatic issuing of refunds. Your application must be complete and verified before the Committee can process your claim.

Here are the main reasons refunds get stuck:

1. Bank Verification Failure (Most Common Problem)
The bank account details provided did not match or could not be verified and many applications could not be processed . If your bank account has been closed, wrong IFSC code was used or the name on the account does not match your PACL records, your refund will be blocked.

What to do: Go to the official portal sebipaclrefund.co.in, log in and update your correct bank account details. The deadline for this correction has been extended to 6 October 2026.

2. Missing papers
If you have not uploaded the required documents like your canceled cheque, PAN copy, PACL certificate or photograph, your application will remain incomplete.

3. “Land Has Been Allocated” status
Some investors are receiving a status that reads “Land has been allocated” instead of a cash refund. This means, that according to the records of PACL, land was allotted to you. But that does not mean that you have really had physical possession of that piece of land. Such cases are probably pending further court orders and cash refund may not be processed in the same way .
