The Madhya Pradesh government has recently given a big relief to the farmers by releasing the long pending 14th and 15th installments of the Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on July 27, 2026, during the Balram Krishi Mahotsav event in Khandwa, transferred ₹4,000 each to the bank accounts of more than 82 lakh farmers, taking the total released through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to more than ₹3,300 crore.
When is the 16th installment going to be?
The Madhya Pradesh government has not yet announced an official date for the release of the 16th installment under the Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojana. But the 16th part is expected to come in October or November 2026, according to media reports and previous release pattern.
Important to point out that the 14th, 15th and 16th installments were all pending with the 13th being released in August 2025. With two instalments now released together, farmers may have to wait a few months for the next payment.
Scheme Structure in Perspective
Under the Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana, eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 per year from the state government, paid in three instalments of ₹2,000 each. Under the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, farmers get a total of ₹12,000 per year, ₹6,000 from the central government and ₹6,000 from the state government.
Things to keep in mind:
Each installment under the state scheme is Rs. 2,000
14th and 15th installments released together at ₹4,000
Now the 16th instalment (₹2,000) is awaited
