Indian Oil Corporation has commenced online application process for recruitment to various executive posts. The recruitment includes posts of Graduate Engineer, Officer (Marketing), Law Officer, Assistant Quality Control Officer, Diploma Engineer in various grades. Interested candidates can apply on the official website till September 3, 2026.
Indian Oil has announced its second major recruitment in the month of August. The company has recently invited applications for more than 400 vacancies for roles such as Head of Marketing, Technician and Graduate Apprenticeship. The 10th pass ITI holders have been provided a chance to apply through the official portal till September 6.

IOCL New Vacancy 2026 Educational Qualification
Graduate Engineer: Full Time Regular BE/B.Tech Degree or equivalent in relevant trades like Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics etc. from a University/Institution recognized by AICTE/UGC. General, EWS, OBC (NCL) candidates require a minimum of 65% marks and SC, ST, PwBD candidates require a minimum of 55% marks.
Marketing Officer: Must have a regular 2 years MBA/ PGDBA degree with specialization in Marketing.
Law Officer: 3 years LLB degree with graduation in any subject or 5 years integrated LLB degree.
Assistant Quality Control Officer: Must have M.Sc. in Chemistry.
Diploma Engineer: Regular engineering diploma in the relevant branch.

IOCL New Vacancy 2026 Work Experience
Candidates with post-qualification work experience in Law Officer and Assistant Quality Control Officer posts.
Law Officer: Candidates applying for Law Officer should possess a minimum of two years’ aggregate post qualification professional experience as on 30th June, 2026. This experience must be after the result of the final law qualification and can include experience in the courts or tribunals, law firms, private or public sector organizations dealing with legal work or legal work for the central or state government.

The selection of eligible applicants for Indian Oil Recruitment 2026 under Advertisement No. IOCL/CO-HR/RECTT/2026/01 will be made through three rounds:
Computer Based Examination (CBE)
Personal Interview / Group Discussion (GD) / Group Activity (GA)
Merit List Final
Weightage given in the final merit list will be as follows:
The CBT score was 85%
5% for GD or GT.
10% for Interview
