NTPC Deputy Manager Eligibility Criteria
Deputy Manager (Electrical) B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics from recognized University/Institution with minimum 60% of marks. Candidates should also have a degree and 10 years’ experience in the electrical field (coal, gas, lignite) in operations/maintenance/commissioning/construction/engineering/energy efficiency/project management/field quality or similar disciplines.
Deputy Manager (Mechanical) : The candidate should be a Graduate in Mechanical/Production Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks. The degree is also compulsory with minimum 10 years’ experience in the relevant field.
Deputy Manager (C&I): Candidate should be B.E./B.Tech in Electronics/Control & Instrumentation/Instrumentation with minimum 60% marks and 10 years post qualification experience in the relevant field.
Experience Relaxation: SC/ST candidates will be provided relaxation of up to 2 years in experience.
Age Limit : The upper age limit for candidates for all the posts is 40 years. The upper age relaxation would be given from 3 to 10 years as per rules. This includes OBC, SC, ST and PwBD candidates.
Candidates will have to undergo a medical test to judge their fitness before assuming charge. There will be no relaxation of the stipulated health standards.

In this recruitment by NTPC, the first stage of selection process will be shortlisting/screening. Based on educational qualifications, percentage of marks obtained, post-qualification experience etc.
