GIMS Staff Nurse Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed 4 years B.Sc. Nursing course from an institution recognized by State Medical Faculty or Indian Nursing Council, OR 2 year Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing course completed, OR GNM Diploma with 2 years experience in 50 bed hospital after registration.
Age Limit : Minimum Age Limit is 21 Years and Maximum Age Limit is 40 Years as on 01.07.2026. Upper age relaxation will be given to SC, ST and other categories as per rules. Candidates will have to attach their reserved category certificate in the form for availing the benefit of reservation/age relaxation.

What is the Staff Nurse Recruitment Process?
The recruitment to the posts of Staff Nurse shall be done through Computer Based Test (CBT)
Written Examination Admit Card will be issued. Without it, entry to the exam center will not be allowed.
The written exam will be objective type having questions on Nursing. 80% of the questions will be theory based and 20% will be practical based. There will be 1/4 negative marking in the exam. There is no negative marking for a question not attempted.
The merit list of the selection process shall be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the CBT. Next up will be Biometric and Document Verification.
And finally, there will be a medical test as well.
What is an Application Fee?
The application fee will not be refunded. Its payment is mandatory at the time of applying.
