UP PET 2026 Syllabus: Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has started the online application process for the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET). Interested candidates can apply until 1st September 2026. Those who have already qualified UP PET 2025 can also appear for this exam to improve their score.
But the commission has not declared the exam date for UP PET 2026 yet. Now the application process has started, it is the next stage of preparation for the candidates who have been waiting for the notification for a long time.

UP PET Exam Pattern:
UP PET is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC). This exam is offline (On OMR sheet) and is of 2 hours duration.
In the exam, total 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) are asked. Each correct answer 1 mark. There is negative marking also; 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

The question paper for UP PET exam will be prepared based on the syllabus prescribed by the commission. The syllabus has been divided into a total of 15 sections and questions of fixed marks will be asked from each section.

How Long is the UPSSSC PET Score Valid?
UPSSSC PET 2026 score validity: The score of UPSSSC PET 2026 will be valid for three years from the date of declaration of the result. Based on this score, the commission will prepare a merit list of candidates for the main examination for different Group ‘C’ recruitments. In case the exam is conducted in more than one shift, the results will be prepared by normalization process.
